Position: Part-Time Online Advertising Manager

Description: Art of the Guillotine (AOTG.com) is looking for an Online Advertising Manager to lead the charge into the next phase of Ad Sales for AOTG.com. The Online Advertising Manager will secure sales for AOTG.com ad space as well as drive the strategy for scaling ad operations across display, video and mobile.

What does that mean exactly?
-Secure sales for all AOTG.com operations
-Identify and implement new processes and technology in advertising operations in order to innovate and drive revenue.
-Communicate with AOTG.com executives in regards to ad management, status of and potential opportunities. This includes what has launched, any issues in terms of pacing or optimizations, any system issues or limitations, what is being worked on, etc.
-Optimize campaigns to achieve AOTG.com and client’s goals. This includes, but not limited to, adding new inventory, excluding poor performing campaign components, and developing creative ideas
-Manage post-sale reporting process and communicate campaign insights and highlights to AOTG.com executives and clients.
-Be able to prioritize based on daily tasks, client requests and internal requests and projects.
-Manage relationship with 3rd party vendors as they relate to sales operations and ad-serving.
-Provide direction to operations team regarding tagging, targeting, ad set-up, and more to ensure proper ad delivery.
-Coordinate with the AOTG.com team in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.

What will get you in the door?
-Previous experience and documented portfolio of working in online advertising operations.
-Solid understanding of online advertising products / technologies
-Management experience required
-Deep understanding of order management and campaign delivery management processes.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and manipulate a variety of data for the benefit of campaign management, ad operations, and sales.
-Hands-on experience with ad trafficking, de-bugging, data collection, online advertising site structures, and data collection
-Ability to troubleshoot and analyze an issue to arrive at root cause, and provide necessary suggestions for resolution.
-Strong client service skills with an ability to effectively communicate with various audiences.
-Thrives in an informal, rapidly-changing, do-it-yourself style startup culture.
-Strong experience in Internet technologies including HTML, Flash, Javascript and other internet-/networking-related protocols as they relate to the advertising creative, delivery and processes.
-Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced startup culture that requires a fast learner, willingness to collaborate internally and externally
-Detail Oriented
-Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
-Ability to prioritize large workloads
