DOC Exposed application deadline - July 26

Members of the Toronto chapter of the Documetary Orgaization of Canada (DOC) are invited to submit a film to the new Toronto screening forum, DOC Exposed. The DOC Exposed series provides a forum for screening and discussion that focuses on the connection between film form and content, examining the art of documentary making and storytelling. Screenings will take place at the Centre for Social Innovation.

How it works:

DOC Exposed provides a casual, open and intimate space in which to watch and discuss films made by DOC Members. Once a month at the Centre for Social Innovation (215 Spadina Avenue, Toronto), one filmmaker will be invited to screen their film, or a film they wish to present (with the permission of the
filmmaker). Open discussion facilitated by the filmmaker or a *DOC Exposed Series* programmer will follow.

Submit a film:

1. You can submit your own film, or suggest, present and facilitate discussion on the work of another (with permission).
2. A documentary is eligible if:

a) It has been completed and

b) It has not been released theatrically

Submission form is attached to this email.

Application deadline is July 26, 2010.

Email DOC Toronto`s Managing Director  jackie@docorg.ca to request a submission form. Visit www.doctoronto.ca for more information about DOC Toronto. Half year memberships to DOC are now on sale for 50% off.
