Berlinale Talent Campus application deadline - October 6

The Berlin International Film Festival’s 9th Berlinale Talent Campus (BTC) is accepting entries until October 6. The BTC is an intensive week-long academy and networking platform for 350 up-and-coming filmmakers from all over the world that takes place parallel to the Berlinale in February, 2011.

The BTC is open to those who work or study in the areas of screenwriting, production, documentary filmmaking, direction, cinematography, acting, editing, sound design, composing, production design, art direction, visual art, film criticism or animation;

The Berlinale Talent Campus offers in addition to the general programme, several Hands-On Training Programmes: Doc Station, Script Station, Talent Project Market, Berlin Today Award, Score Competition, Talent Press, Campus Studio.

ELIGIBILITY

• have never attended a previous edition of the Berlinale Talent Campus or if you have, you wish to apply to the Talent Project Market or to the Berlin Today Award;
• are fluent in the English language;
• have worked on at least one short film that has received a prize and/or has been selected for an international film festival, OR;
• have worked on a film of at least 60 minutes in length, OR;
• are a student in your final year at a film school, OR;
• are a student in film studies at a post-graduate level.
