Julia Morgan

Julia Morgan is a documentary producer, writer, and researcher. Previously, she has worked as a producer on three feature-length documentaries: Poor No More; Hop to, Toronto! (Building a swing dance community), which screened theatrically in Toronto and was reviewed by CBC Radio; and B.Y.O.C. (the story of the 2003 World Rubik’s Cube Championship). She is currently the producer of Transfixed, a feature-length documentary in production/post-production, working with executive producer Ed Barreveld, producer Felix Golubev, director Alon Kol, story editor Ricardo Acosta, and cinematographer Christopher Behnisch. Julia’s background is in writing/communications in the non-profit sector. For the past seven years, she has worked as a successful freelance magazine journalist and communications/marketing consultant. Julia is available for producing, writing, and research contracts and has extensive experience writing treatments and funding proposals.
