The event runs from 3 PM to 7 PM at the NFB Mediatheque at 150 John Street. The event features digital distribution pioneer Robert Greenwald and Stéphane Cardin with the Canadian Media Fund. HUNTER WEEKS
Hunter Weeks has led efforts to bring major partners on board to help fund and promote the films, including such companies as CBS Sports, Quiznos, YouTube, Crocs, SmartWool, Fender, and Chipotle. He’s also the author of The 10 MPH DIY Manual, which discusses unique PR, Marketing, and distribution insights on how to distribute indie films both digitally and conventionally without a major distributor. Hunter directed and produced 10 MPH and 10 Yards. Currently, he’s directing Ride the Divide.
CHRISTY DENA
Christy Dena is a cross-media specialist who works as a narrative and game design consultant, strategist, educator and developer. Christy has given keynotes at Power to the Pixel, London Film Festival and the First International Conference on Cross-Media Interaction Design in Sweden. She has mentored for organizations in Australia and has given presentations across Australia and abroad.
