Vancouver Film & TV Forum
Registration is now open for The Vancouver Film & TV Forum, which runs September 28 to October 1, plus a New Filmmakers' Day on October 2. The Forum, which runs during the Vancouver International Film Festival, offers thematic streamlined programming including: Storyville Vancouver (Sept. 28), DOC Day (Sept. 29), FILM Day (Sept. 30), TV Day (Oct. 1) and the New Filmmakers' Day (Oct. 2).
The five day Forum offers panel discussions, pitch forums, master classes, Telefilm Canada Tete-a-tete meetings, roundtable discussions and speed dating sessions, all geared towards the professional development of the local film, TV and new media communities.
DOC Day, on September 29, includes Roundtables, Speed Dating Sessions, T and the following workshops: Reality Success Stories, Acquisitions in the Doc World, Getting to The Heart of the Matter, GOING FROM ZERO TO HERO: How to Create Compelling Digital Extensions for Feature & Television Projects.
The Forum also offers networking opportunities with Forum delegates, guest speakers, sponsors and media at various receptions and parties. The Forum takes place at the Rogers Industry Centre located at the Vancouver International Film Centre.
