Making Your Media Matter Conference

The Making Your Media Matter conference for established and aspiring filmmakers, non-profit communications leaders, funders and students looking to learn and share cutting-edge practices for making their media matter runs from February 11 to 12 in Washington DC. The conference features a slate of keynote speakers including Patrice O’Neill, Producer of Not in Our Town and a group discussion about Documentary Ethics In Practice led by the Center for Social Media's Director Pat Aufderheide.

Panels will discuss topics including 'Strategic from the Start - Developing synergies to build your conversation' and 'Strategic Design in Social Issue Media' The conference takes place at the American University’s Katzen Arts Center, 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW Washington, DC. The fee to register is US$100 or US$50 for students.
