DOXA screens Salute on February 25

In the lead-up to the Vancouver Olympic Games, DOXA Documentary Film Festival has been presnting a brand new Film Series entitled Motion Pictures in Vancouver. Now that the Olympics are in full swing, the fourth and final film in the series, Salute, is set to screen on Thursday, February 25 at 7 pm at Vancouver's Fifth Avenue Cinemas.

 Salute is directed by Matt Norman and is about an Australian sprinter Peter Norman and the powerful social statement he and two African America sprinters made at the medal ceremony at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.

Salute screens at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 25 at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas, 2110 Burrard Street, Vancouver.
