Available Light Film Festival in White Horse

The Available Light Film Festival, hosted by the Yukon Film Society, is accepting submissions of feature drama and documentary film and media art works produced after January 1, 2007, and over 45 minutes in length. The deadline for submissions is November 1 (postmarked). The Festival runs from February 10 to 14, 2010 in White Horse at the Yukon Arts Centre and Qwanlin Cinema Centre and will feature twenty screenings, guest filmmakers, workshops, industry events and panel discussions.

There is no submission fee. Canadian and international films over 45 minutes accepted. Preview tapes and DVD's will not be returned unless a SASE is included. Projection formats: 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP, Digibeta, DVCAM or mini-dv. All video formats NTSC. Accepted films are paid an artist fee or the fee set by a distributor.
