A reminder that the Hot Docs early bird submission deadline is this coming Friday, December 2nd. The final deadline is January 13th 2012.

THE BEST OF HOT DOCS TO SCREEN NOVEMBER 11 TO 13 AT WINNIPEG'S CINEMATHEQUE

Hot Docs and partners the National Screen Institute, On Screen Manitoba and DOC Winnipeg are pleased to present the Best of Hot Docs, a weekend of documentary screenings, Friday, November 11, to Sunday, November 13, at the Winnipeg Film Group’s Cinematheque, 100 Arthur Street. The Best of Hot Docs celebrates the Winnipeg premiere of four sold-out hits from this year’s Hot Docs lineup, and works by two of Manitoba’s own unique documentary filmmaking talents.

Hot Docs-Blue Ice Film Documentary Fund

The Hot Docs – Blue Ice Film Documentary Fund is a grant program that will provide financial support to African documentary filmmakers for development and production. Development grants of $3,000 - $8,000 and Production grants of $5,000 - $40,000 will be awarded to approximately 4 – 10 projects annually.
