NFB Doc Summit 2010 - May 7

The NFB and Hot Docs will  present the seventh edition of the Doc Summit on Friday, May 7 from 9 am - 12 pm, Rogers Industry Centre, first floor. The focus of the Doc Summit is to discuss the sector’s challenges and opportunities, and to brainstorm on what the industry will look like when it’s working best.
Five presentations will be under debate during the Doc Summit, with topics rnaging from copyright concerns and fair dealing to the benefits of cross-platform productions.

The Doc Summit proceedings will be presented on-line via the Hot Docs website shortly after the festival. Panelists include Brett Gaylor, creator of OpenSourceCinema.org and director of RiP : A Remix Manifesto, which screened at Hot Docs 2009 (see video above) .
