Industry Events - Thursday, May 6
Today is the second and final day of the Toronto Documentary Forum (TDF) at Koerner Hall. The fourth NFB Coffee Talk on Women Directing Justice takes place at 11 am. Conference Sessions today are on Poetics of Online Documentary at 2 pm followed by Kim Longinotto discussing her work at 2:30 pm. NFB Coffee Talks and Conference Sessions run in the Industry Centre in Victoria College.

Moderated by Gisele Gordon, Hot Doc's Canadian Programmer. British filmmaker Kim Longinotto will discuss her creative process. NFB COFFEE TALKS 4: Women Directing Justice
At 11:00 am, first floor of the Rogers Industry Centre, room 115.
Moderated by Silva Basmajian, NFB Ontario Centre Executive Producer. Is there a women’s way to document peace and human rights? Basmajian will moderate a discussion with filmmakers Stephanie Boyd (The Devil Operation), Raymonde Provencher (Grace, Milly, Lucy... Child Soldiers) and Shelley Saywell (In the Name of the Family) on the role these women have played in documenting social justice, human rights and the true cost of war.
